Behind the machine

4AG Robotics (formerly TechBrew Robotics) has developed a fully autonomous, vision-guided mushroom harvesting robot. The robot attaches to existing standardized Dutch-style growing shelves, requiring no farm reconstruction. Units are transportable between growing rooms as needed.

Capabilities

The harvesting robot picks, trims, quality-sorts, and packs Agaricus mushrooms autonomously. The system uses computer vision to identify and select mushrooms for harvest. 4AG also markets HX800 punnet-packing robots, which are live in 4 countries as of January 2026.
