Prototype Ecorobotix ARA 1200 makes debut at ATH ↗

Swiss manufacturer Ecorobotix showed a 12-metre ARA 1200 spot-sprayer prototype at AgroTechniek Holland. The ~2,000 kg machine folds narrower than the ARA 620, adds a load-sensing hydraulic control box, and lists around €210,000. A 9-metre ARA 900 is listed around €180,000 (ARA 620 about €134,000). Machines can be ordered but were sold out for delivery before the next season; about 20 of the new machines are to be deployed worldwide.

The 12-metre ARA 1200 ultra-high precision spot sprayer debuted as a prototype at AgroTechniek Holland in Biddinghuizen on 17 September 2026. Future Farming reported the machine weighs about 2,000 kg, folds to a narrower transport width than the ARA 620, and adds a load-sensing hydraulic control box for fold, unfold, and support-wheel lock. Under the covers, the spraying technology matches the existing 6-metre ARA.

List price is around €210,000. The machines can be ordered, but were sold out for delivery before the next season. Ecorobotix said about 20 of the new wider machines are to be deployed worldwide so service stays manageable.
