BloomX raises $13 million to expand robotic pollination in fruit crops ↗

BloomX closed a $13 million Series A (€11.2 million), taking total funding to $20 million. Elah Fund led. Robee vibrates blueberry flowers; YAHAV 2400, commercially launched in 2026, uses an electrostatic field and bee-like fabric in avocado orchards. Both are offered as pollination-as-a-service. Thai Sade, co-founder and CEO: pollination has remained at the mercy of nature. BloomX cites about 20% average yield increase and up to 3.5 ha per operator per day. Markets: Peru, Mexico, South Africa, Israel; preparing for the United States, including almonds and blueberries.

YAHAV 2400 is BloomX’s avocado orchard pollination machine. High-voltage electrodes create an electric field that draws pollen onto a specialised textile made to mimic a bee’s body. The pollen can be stored overnight. During application, the arms transfer it to receptive female flowers.
