Behind the machine

BloomX

BloomX builds robotic pollination systems that work alongside bees. Robee applies controlled vibrations for blueberries. YAHAV 2400 uses an electrostatic field and bee-like fabric for avocados, commercially launched in 2026. Both are offered as pollination-as-a-service. Address 31 HaPardes Rd., Rishpon, 4691500, Israel. Founded in 2019.

BloomX raises $13 million to expand robotic pollination in fruit crops ↗

BloomX closed a $13 million Series A (€11.2 million), taking total funding to $20 million. Elah Fund led. Robee vibrates blueberry flowers; YAHAV 2400, commercially launched in 2026, uses an electrostatic field and bee-like fabric in avocado orchards. Both are offered as pollination-as-a-service. Thai Sade, co-founder and CEO: pollination has remained at the mercy of nature. BloomX cites about 20% average yield increase and up to 3.5 ha per operator per day. Markets: Peru, Mexico, South Africa, Israel; preparing for the United States, including almonds and blueberries.

More from BloomX

Robee is BloomX’s blueberry pollination machine. It applies controlled vibrations across the canopy to release pollen the way bumblebees do, without causing fruit-drop. The structure can be set to match orchard layout, pruning, and row spacing.

Listed specs: GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS); 4G LTE Cat 4, 3G, and 2G; 1,000 W power; integrated GPS tracking of coverage. Working size 247 cm long, 120–480 cm wide; 80 cm tyres. Folded shipping size 178 × 112 × 108 cm. Mass 245 kg.

Robee and YAHAV 2400 are the two commercial BloomX systems. Both are offered as pollination-as-a-service.
